For me the qurantine started with drawing a bird every time i felt trapped. Shortly, I ended up with a pile of drawings of me as a bird at my disposal.

I prefer to explore my ideas in a mix of traditional and digital media. Here my room is place without walls, I am a trapped bird and things that I have to face emerge through the floor.

As a woman artist there are many things that I take care for, which became evermore clear during qurantine. Here, I am hanging laundry items and my project among those things. Now, that it's done, it becomes just one of the items I must take care of.

My lockdown experience transfered into feelings, transefered into mythological symbols. Interlaced with a traditional fairy tail song of Finno Ugric people, that was recorded by me in 2018.
